-New Roofs

Insulation is installed with all new roofs, which significantly improves energy efficiency and reduces carbon emissions by reducing energy consumption.

When all new roofs are being carried out your local authority (council) must be notified by law. This is a very simple procedure, you can go onto their website, click onto building control and download the form, fill in and return.
The Roofing Centre will then liaise with the council officer until works are completed.

You will be issued with a certificate from the council to say The Roofing Centre has carried out the works correctly, giving you that extra peace of mind.

- Slating
Slate is a natural product and is extremely hard wearing and when laid properly will provide a watertight textured roof lasting for many years.
Being a natural product it has many variations in texture and colour.

- Tiling
Tiles 49s are interlocking concrete tiles which are perhaps the most cost effective of the roof coverings. Laid as a single lap, side by side with the grooves on the underside of one tile resting within those on the upper side of the preceding tile. They are available in a range of attractive colours.
Plain tiles come in both concrete and clay form, hand made clay tiles being the most expensive. Designed to be easily laid. They are available in a wide range of natural colours and can be laid in a variety of design options.
Pantiles are mainly made in clay form. Traditionally, they are single lapped with the downward roll of each tile simply rolling over the upward roll of the preceding tile. Modern pantiles are in both clay and concrete often emulate the look of the pantile while using the technology of the interlocking tile.
